At the same time, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a distinct aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.
Moscow has increased strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "real steps" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.
"The necessity is not window dressing but strong steps - from the America, European nations and the Group of Seven - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing penalties," was stated in a social media post.
He said that numerous aerial vehicles and more than 30 projectiles targeted the country's power systems, describing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.
Government representatives said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were working to fix the damage.
A wave of strikes struck energy infrastructure and residential structures in the capital.
Five out of the nine people hurt in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by city authorities.
Local officials said the city came under heavy assaults overnight. A minor was killed and several individuals were injured.
The assaults come after nights of air raids in the region, portions of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.
The whole nation is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are tougher to spot.
Government officials told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the electrical infrastructure, with attacks already disrupting fuel infrastructure.
