Los Angeles experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy high.
